Welcome to Gua Sha Facial Training

Here are the supplies you will need to complete this course: You should be able to find these on Amazon or you can purchase direct from the website www.myholistictraining.com

1. Gua Sha Tools. A green jade (also called ‘feng jade’) gua sha tool and rollers. A ‘heart shaped’ gua sha gemstone is recommended and what is used in the video. However, any shaped tool will work. Pay close attention to how the tool is held and aligned in the videos, and replicate this alignment with your tool.
2. Jade Gemstone roller. A green jade double-sided gemstone roller is recommended. This is because green jade has a soapstone consistency that is best for toning and lifting the face. However, any type of roller will work if you already have a different type on hand.
3. Rose Quartz. We will also be working with Rose Quartz (also called ‘hyaline quartz’) gua sha tools and rollers. Again a ‘heart shaped’ gemstone is recommended.
4. Rose Quartz Gemstone rollers. We will be using a smaller rose quartz roller for the smaller areas on the face and we will also be using a larger style rose quartz roller.
5. Rose Quartz Mushrooms. If you have these then you can also learn some additional techniques to use with the mushroom crystals. Mushroom shaped crystals have been used to symbolize wealth and prosperity. They help with blood circulation and help to reduce wrinkles and promote lymphatic drainage. 
6. Serum - You will need an oil-based serum to ensure the gua sha tool and roller can glide across your skin properly. Any oil-based serum will work well here; however, we recommend Jojoba Oil, Rosehip Oil or Kukui Nut which can be purchased on amazon.com or New Directions Aromatics. If you already have a favourite oil on hand, feel free to use that as well!
